Fulvio Pastore-Alinante (SILS’s managing partner) has issued a presentation at the conference held on 21 June 2018, organized by the Italian Lawyers Pension Funds Association on the following topic "The present and the future of the legal profession between Italy and Europe".

Fulvio Pastore-Alinante is the Managing Partner of SILS. He specializes in corporate and commercial law and litigation, extraordinary transactions, distribution networks, international trade, and executive-level employment law, and he regularly advises leading multinational groups operating in Italy.

He graduated with honors in commercial law from the University of Naples Federico II and furthered his studies as a Fellow of the Salzburg Seminar in American Legal Studies and subsequently as a Fulbright Scholar at Columbia University in New York, where he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.).

Since its foundation and until December 31, 2024 Mr. Pastore was General Secretary and Vice-President of ASLA, the Italian Association of International Law Firms. He has published articles and specialist contributions and has been interviewed by leading industry publications (including The Lawyer, Legal Week, Corporate Counsel, Il Sole 24 Ore, Italia Oggi, TopLegal, and Legalcommunity). He frequently speaks at legal conferences in Italy and abroad.

Luigi Zumbo is founding partner of SILS – Italian Corporate Law Firm, which he created with Fulvio Pastore in 2011 following his experiences as partner in the international law firms Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati (at the time member of the PwC-PricewaterhouseCoopers network), Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP e Bryan Cave LLP.

Graduated at the University of Messina, and after completing his studies at the Catholic University of Milan (Master Degree in Corporate Finance) and the BPP Law School in London (Graduate Diploma), Mr. Zumbo specializes in international and Italian corporate and competition law, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, commercial arbitration and litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency law including debt-restructuring transactions, and data protection rules (privacy) both at the European Union level and in Italy, in particular for the energy sector and the motor vehicle, pharmaceutical, textile, and luxury products industries.

Mr. Zumbo regularly teaches courses and seminars on topics such as class action procedures, antitrust, and commercial distribution networks; he is also author of several contributions for the legal publications of ASLA, the Italian Association of International Law Firms.
